Support and resources:

• Books and resources supplied for a target group of 18 Yr7 students (English lessons)
• Books and resources supplied for a target groups of 17 Yr7 students (mathematics lessons)
• 1:1 mentoring in English and mathematics  lessons to help support student progress
• Contribution to help fund small class sizes for the target group of students (in both Mathematics and English)
• To fund protected time for TA support outside of lessons with homework in both subject areas
• Contribution to the resource centre manager’s salary to help deliver the accelerated reading scheme and contribute to planning  SOW
• Financial contribution to the setting up and running of the passport to maths scheme

 

Funding Allocation:

£36,000

 

Success Criteria:

A) Reading ages of targeted pupils to show significant improvement (12months+).

B) For targeted Yr7 students to have made at least expected progress by the end of Yr7 in mathematics and/ or English (depending on need).
